The Trustees of The Compass Partnership of Schools recently received a request from the Governors of John Ray Infants School to join The Compass Partnership.
We would like to congratulate all of the staff and pupils at Willow Dene and Wingfield for their recent Outstanding Ofsted judgements.
John Ray Junior, Notley Green and Shalford Primary School are consulting on changes to their admissions policies, which would come into effect for applications to their schools for entry from September 2024.

After two years of pandemic uncertainty an alternative to our annual compass music event was found with the addition of our schools in Essex. On Thursday 24th March @ 18.00, ten of our compass schools joined together virtually, for our very first on-line music event.
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Simon Hayward as Trustee to the Compass Board. Simon is an accomplished C-suite appointee, NED and experienced Board member across the nuclear, aviation, heavy engineering, retail, hospitality and education sectors where he is recognized for his independent perspective and diligent ability to balance corporate governance and regulatory compliance with the difficulties of operating in complex business environments.
We are pleased to share the news that as of 1st January 2022 our family of schools has grown to include Cann Hall Primary School, John Ray Junior School, Notley Green Primary School, and Shalford Primary School.
